Dr. B’s Summer Ale.

Bryan Gordon

Project Description

bryanbeerThis is my Summer Ale Gold Medal Recipe. It was really just a twist to my first gold medal in the blonde ale category back in 2014, and the brewing of Kolsch beers since.  I really just took a blonde ale and added some honey malt with Kolsch yeast. I brewed 10 gallons at the beginning of one of the hottest summers on record knowing we were going to need a refresher beer for the lake and after mowing the lawn or our family BBQ’s. It has been requested by many for summer parties to introduce the general public to the flavors and quality of craft beer.
