Club Meetings
The Lauter Day Brewers meet the second Sunday of each month at 4:30 p.m. The meetings last until about 7:00 p.m. and the location usually varies depending on space availabilities at our go-to locations, or whether members want to volunteer their homes.
There are two different types of meetings:
- Open, Educational Meetings
- Member Only Style Meetings.
We rotate between these two types of meetings every other month. Obviously, anyone and everyone who is interested in homebrewing is welcome to attend any of our open meetings, which will focus on education. We will discuss and sample one of the many BJCP styles. Everyone is welcome to bring home brew to share and it does not have to be specific to that month’s style, and craft beer is welcome upon the conclusion of the official meeting’s agenda.
At the Member Only meetings we go in-depth on a specific style that we ask our members to brew for the meeting so that we can sample a variety of interpretations of the style and analyze it in greater detail. We will never turn a non-member away from a Member Only meeting, but we do ask that you attend as the guest of one of our members.
